  Press Release / Media

TULSA, Oklahoma – The TulsaGo organization today announced the return of its annual Small Business Saturday campaign: Shop Small Tulsa℠. The 2023 community initiative includes over 100 participating businesses across Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, and Bixby. On November 25, shoppers throughout the regional area can make a purchase at any of the participating locations indicated on the website map. Each purchase will count towards a chance to enter the Tulsa Winter Experience giveaway, which consists of dinner for two at Prossimo Ristorante on Cherry Street, Tulsa Ballet Nutcracker tickets, a couples spa package from Madsen Massage Therapy, and a holiday wreath workshop at Anthousai Florals. Shop Small Tulsa is part of a year-round “Get Local” campaign, which is dedicated to forging connections between the wider consumer public and the businesses that play a vital role in shaping the city's local economy.

“One of our organization's primary focuses is uniting the small business community through the creation and development of robust multi-city initiatives,” said Erik-Michael Collins, Managing Partner at TulsaGo. “By consistently raising awareness and adding value to amplify the efforts of local business owners, we are actively working towards strengthening the resilience and vitality of Tulsa's small business sector, as well as generating sales-tax revenue that goes towards city projects and ongoing infrastructure.”

The 2023 Shop Small Tulsa event is supported by Arvest Bank, Mix 96.5 Tulsa, QuikTrip, and Rich & Cartmill. TulsaGo is proud to work with these community partners who are providing a foundation for the continued growth of this important economic development and small business sustainability effort.
