Tulsa, Oklahoma (March 8, 2022) More than 150 small local businesses from across the state will gather later this month for the 2022 OKGO Market event. This carefully curated one-day marketplace is the first of many statewide initiatives centered around an ongoing Made in Your Favorite State™ campaign. OKGO Market focuses on providing an exceptional retail experience that allows each merchant an in-person opportunity to showcase their products directly to local consumers.
Participating Oklahoma merchants come from 29 cities throughout the state including Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Lawton, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Midwest City, Enid, Muskogee, Yukon, Ardmore, Ponca City, Mustang, Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Bethany, Claremore, Altus, Grove, Tahlequah, Ada, Glenpool, Weatherford, Guthrie, Okmulgee, Coweta, Wagoner, Collinsville, and Chouteau. Shoppers can expect to find Oklahoma-made wines, dry foods, gift sets, artisan candies, souvenirs, handcrafted birdhouses, boutique pet treats, home & outdoor décor, leather accessories, organic beauty products, and much more. As an added value to marketplace customers, each merchant will offer a special one-day OKGO Market deal.
Each shopper that makes a purchase from three or more merchants will be entered into the OKGO Market giveaway. OKGO Market has partnered with several local businesses for the giveaway in an effort to entice customers to support multiple merchants while in attendance. Giveaways include a one-night stay at the Brut Hotel that opens later this year, a one-night stay at the 21 ½ Boutique Hotel, a Chef’s Tasting for 2 at Lowood, a Topeca Coffee gift bag, and a party balloon display from Balloon Therapy.
The 2022 OKGO Market event will take place on Saturday, March 19 from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. in Central Park Hall at Expo Square. Admission is free and open to the public. Special edition reusable OKGO Market shopping totes can be purchased upon entry for $5.00 or customers can bring their own.
